A whole lot of nothing.

Sylvia closed on Oct. 1st, to possibly the best audience of the whole run. There wasn't a bad show in the entire run, but the closing night crowd seemed to have enjoyed it the most and was the most receptive.

After the show we had a wrap party, the cast presented me with a very lovley gift, a singed poster of the giant article that promoted the show. I gave out framed copies of the poster I desinged for the show.

We were all presented with little pieces of soap to "wash our mouths out and clean up our act" (there was one complaint that the show had too much vulger launguage in it - we were accused of taking liberties with the text to cheapen the show).

I am still doing the Flash Project for U of M Medical Services. it looks very cool.

Everything else is me trying to figure out my next move.

I miss my cast.
  • Listening to: U2 - Neil Young - Little Richard
  • Reading: Elmore Lenord - The Hot Kid
  • Watching: CSI
  • Eating: food
  • Drinking: Diet Pepsi
I'm not sure if anyone is paying attention - but I haven't been contributing much lately. An occasional pic here and there and checking out some new work. I've been directing a play called "Sylvia" written by A.R. Gruney.

Tonight is the opening night and if your in the Metro Detroit area anytime on the weekends between now (Sept. 15) and Oct. 1st come check out the show, it's a very funny. (www.playersguildofdearborn.org)

I'm also working on a Flash project for the University of Michigan Medical Service and (keeping my fingers crossed) I might be going back to work full time. I could use the steady income..

Outside of that, I'm trying to stay out of trouble - I"m thinking about taking up writing again I haven't written anything is about five years so I guess I'm due. I was supposed to be developing a web serial called The Bill Adams Show but that idea fell through - but I'm thinking about developing an original piece for the stage with one of the actors from Bill Adams Show - we'll see what happens there.

Anyway..

If you happen to read this, thanks

take care
Stan
